What Layout Style Do You Prefer?

There is an art to how designers combine the different elements of a logo, whether it's using a graphic by itself (e.g. Apple Computer, McDonals, Nike), text only as the logo (e.g. Kellogg's, GAP, Yahoo), or a combination of both (e.g. Chevron, Visa, Adidas).

What Font Style Do You Prefer?

The style of your text, known as the font, will affect the message your logo portrays. A technology company might want a logo to appear modern by using a sans serif font taht has clean edges, instead of a script font that is more romantic, for instance.

Please select your top 2 preferences:

Serif

What is Serif?

What are the benefits?

Serif fonts have short lines or curves at the end of each stroke in each letter.

Easier to read then sans serif fonts in print text.

Sans Serif

What is Sans Serif?

What are the benefits?

Sans serif fonts are straight fonts without a short line or curve at the end of each main stroke.

Easier to ready than serif on the Internet. Often (but not always) more appealing for a more high-tech look. this font tends to appeal to a contemporary look.

Custom

What is Custom?

What are the benefits?

Custom fonts have been altered from a standard font or are designed exclusively for that logo. These fonts are generally intended for the logo only because the fonts are too busy or difficult to read in longer text.

Works especially well with shorter text, and when used with very simple art or no art, as the font is often a piece of art in itself.

Script

What is Script?

What are the benefits?

Script fonts have more of a cursive flourish.

Often associated with feminine things like a day spa.

Creative freedom
When the designers are reviewing the information you have given us about you and your company today, which would you say to them regarding your selections?

Don't stray - I have a very clear vision for my logo.
Stray only a little bit - I am fairly certain of the kind of logo the dessigners will create.
Stay some - I am fairly certain about my preferences for my logo but I want more variety.
Enjoy full creative freedom - I am not sure what I want so I expect a lot of variety.
